Process and service diagnosis
Map steps, handovers, waiting time, rework and information needs with the people who perform the work.
Information systems roadmap
Connect business priorities, applications, data, integration and security through sequenced decisions.
Change and measurement
Name owners, establish a baseline and support teams through adoption, training and review.
How Consultor and Monitor contribute
Marouane Harmach leads the advisory approach through Consultor. Monitor contributes when media intelligence, strategic monitoring or reputation are part of the decision.
Digital transformation as an operating model decision
Digital transformation is not the purchase of a platform. It changes how a service is delivered, how information moves, how responsibilities are assigned and how performance is understood. The first task is to observe the current operating reality: steps, handovers, waiting time, repeated entry, missing information, informal workarounds and the decisions that slow the process.
Diagnose before choosing technology
A process map should name actors, inputs, outputs, systems and exceptions. It should also establish a baseline using measures that matter to the organisation, such as cycle time, error, rework, service quality or user effort. This prevents a project from being declared successful merely because software was installed.
The information-system view identifies applications, ownership, interfaces, data quality, access and operational resilience. Some improvements require integration; others require simpler rules, clearer information or the removal of unnecessary steps. The roadmap distinguishes these cases.
Build a sequenced roadmap
A balanced roadmap combines short improvements, structural work and capability building. Every initiative has an owner, dependency, expected result and decision date. Projects are sequenced according to business value and readiness rather than visibility alone. AI may appear in the roadmap, but only where the process and information support it.
Governance and change
Leadership sets priorities and resolves cross-functional trade-offs. Process owners define the target outcome. Technology teams establish architecture and security constraints. Users contribute practical knowledge and test whether the new design works. Change support includes communication, training, local assistance and a route for feedback.
Measures that support decisions
| Dimension | Baseline | Target evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Process | Time, rework and exceptions | Observed improvement in the same scope |
| System | Availability, duplication and integration | Reliable flows and fewer manual corrections |
| User | Current effort and adoption | Appropriate sustained use |
| Management | Decision latency and visibility | Clearer, faster accountable decisions |
Moroccan and international context
The roadmap must reflect the organisation’s sector, locations, languages, customer expectations and legal responsibilities in Morocco. Generic maturity models can support a conversation, but they do not replace evidence from the organisation itself.
Public evidence and next step
Public interviews and conference records are organised in the digital transformation evidence library. To discuss an assignment, provide Consultor with the process concerned, current systems, people involved, known constraints and desired outcome.
